Scholarships for Graduating Seniors

The MARK ROBERT BOUCHER MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIPS were established to continue Mark's legacy of friendship and generosity.  Mark saw great value in higher education.  As a graduating scholarship recipient himself, he was able to attend and graduate from Bowdoin College. Mark cherished his high school and college days, but most importantly the lifelong friends he made along the way.

Thanks to the generosity of so many The Mark Robert Boucher Memorial Fund has awarded $133,000 in support of students from Mark’s community.

BROCKTON HIGH SCHOOL
Each year the Mark Robert Boucher Memorial Scholarship is awarded to two deserving Brockton High School graduating student athletes. They each receive $2,000 per year for four years, provided they meet the requirements. This scholarship has special meaning because Mark, his wife Patti, their family members and many treasured life-long friends graduated from Brockton High School.

OLIVER AMES HIGH SCHOOL
The Mark Robert Boucher Memorial Scholarship awards a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior athlete from Oliver Ames High School in Easton, MA. Mark’s children, Kendyll and Jake, both attended high school at Oliver Ames and Mark spent many years coaching within the Easton youth sports community. It is a fitting tribute to Mark and his family that this scholarship has been established in Mark’s name.

BOWDOIN COLLEGE
The Mark Robert Boucher Memorial Scholarship at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME was established in 2021. Mark attended and graduated Bowdoin College in 1985. This is a named scholarship in Mark’s honor and will be awarded annually in perpetuity.

*We feel strongly that awarding scholarships at Brockton High School, Oliver Ames High School and Bowdoin College completes the circle of schools that deeply touched Mark and his family. They helped create the loving, kind, generous man and friend he became.

BROCKTON HIGH SChOOL SPORTS FOUNDATION

The Mark Robert Boucher Memorial Fund will again support the Brockton High Sports Foundation with a donation of $10,000 to benefit male and female student-athletes.  The funding will help to underwrite crucial college preparatory efforts including SAT tutoring classes and related materials.  In addition, the donation will underwrite costs for local college and university group visits for student athletes, including guided campus and athletic facility tours.  The Foundation’s goal is to expose the students to a variety of local schools of varying sizes, locations and athletic divisions.
